Yom Rishon, 23 Shevat 5777

Cemetery Committee oversees the gravesites that Temple Israel owns at Sharon Gardens and Mt. Pleasant, both of which are located in Valhalla. Members may purchase any number of graves for themselves and their families. The current price is $1500 per grave and payment plans are available if needed. Although purchasing graves is rarely at the top of our to-do lists, it is a great service to do this for our families when we are able to think clear ly, when we can consider the needs and desires of other family members and when we can go out and make a site visit, if desired. Joyce Engel, our administrator, will be happy to discuss any questions you may have. It really is an easy process. For more information please contact Herb Smith at drsmith@drherbsmith.com.

This food will then be donated to HOPE Community Services.

Purim is a holiday for laughter, costumes, noisemakers and giving treats. Mishloach Manot is the Purim Mitzvah of sending small gifts, usually of food, to friends, neighbors and the community.

Surprise your friends and family with Mishloach Manot gift bags. Each decorated package contains an assortment of Kosher candy and snacks, hamentaschen, and a grogger. Please also consider donating Mishloach Manot to the United Hebrew or Sarah Neuman Nursing Home.

Why should you purchase Mishloach Manot this year?
• It is a Mitzvah to gift baskets of food to family and friends.
• Mishloach Manot sales are an important fundraiser for Chavaya.

Click to order Mishloach Manot this year and support Temple Israel of New Rochelle by Friday, February 17th!
