Yom Shishi, 8 Kislev 5779

The Seventh Grade program reflects Jewish tradition's belief that thirteen is a transitional age. Seventh graders attend Tuesday evenings with the high school, and Thursday afternoons with younger learners. On Tuesday evenings, participants take two classes, learning about the Holocaust and studying the prayer service. On Thursday afternoons, time is spent studying with the clergy in preparation for becoming Bar or Bat Mitzvah.
