Yom Chamishi, 25 Adar 5777

Students who continue their Religious School studies through twelfth grade are honored in a graduation ceremony that takes place at a Friday evening Shabbat service. The graduating students create and lead the worship service, sharing their Jewish journeys with the congregation through speeches and readings.

The class of 5770 (2010) was the sixty-seventh graduation class of Temple Israel. Through shared writings on the theme "Packing Up the Past, Moving Into the Future," these students revealed thoughts on how they intend to remain connected to Judaism as they gain independence and move on to college and professional life.
