Israel Action

tinrn July 30, 2012 Uncategorised

The Israel Action Committee strives to enhance the relationship that our congregants have with Israel by sponsoring educational, social and cultural programs; encourages the congregation to be active on important issues; enhances awareness through media outlets, strengthens our support for ARZA and other Reform institutions related to Israel; and explores our giving to various Israeli organizations. The committee’s belief that Israeli and Diaspora Jewry remain vibrant and interdependent communities that strengthen and support our Jewish heritage in the lands that Jews inhabit is what sets the tone. The Committee’s goal is to further the vision that the State of Israel will come to coexist peacefully with its neighbors and promote civil, human and religious rights for all of its inhabitants.
